Since starting my accounting job at the beginning of October, I’ve noticed a serious lack of office appropriate clothing in my closet. Luckily for me, being in business school requires you to have some sort of work wear wardrobe for presentations and competitions and what not, but no way did I have enough to get me through months of 5 days a week in office wear. Of course, I had to go shopping (which I’m not too torn up about!). H&M is perfect for workwear styles because they have cute pieces that aren’t too pricey; the perfect combination for a university student who still wants to look put together in on trend pieces.
I picked up this structured blazer which is so cute for the season, and if you’re lucky enough to live somewhere that’s still in the fall season, it makes a super easy jacket for the slight chill in the air! Unfortunately for me, I will need to add a big winter coat overtop for the next 5 months but hey, what can ya do?!
Again I took out my favourite pair of Aritzia trousers, last seen on the blog here and here. I have a bunch of pairs of trousers from Aritzia and I have been so impressed with all of them, from my navy pinstripe pair to my high waisted light pair, they have been a main component in my wardrobe over the past months. I love a good trouser since my time in Copenhagen and have since been wearing them as my everyday pants rather than my usual jeans. They are just so comfy that I have a hard time giving them up on the weekends!
Because so much of my wardrobe is now workwear styles, I’m starting a new section on the blog specifically for workwear! You can find it on the side panel of the blog or simply search “workwear” to get your dose of office inspo! Let me know if that’s something you want to see in the comments!
