Embroidered Bomber Jacket
I worked my final shift at American Eagle last week. It is strange to not have something to do every Saturday; I have been working every Saturday there for almost three years! Needless to say, I loaded up with my discount before I left. This embroidered bomber jacket is one of the things I picked up. I had seen it the week previous but left the purchasing for my last shift, and of course, I walk in there only to find an XS and an XL. Complete bummer. Thankfully though, I found one small tucked away in the back and immediately snatched it up!
I am loving the embroidery trend this year. I feel like it came out of nowhere with those Gucci Loafers and since then has completely stuck. I’m not complaining! There have been so many great trends this year to hop on board to: off the shoulder, gingham, and now this! It has been quite the year! A lot of the time, trends stay for only a few short months. In the case of this years’ though, they have been kickin’ for entire seasons, and I don’t see any of these slowing down anytime soon.
I paired my embroidered bomber with a simple jeans and tee. Those flowers had to be the focus! These American Eagle jeans are to die for; I have them in a ton of colours, but these in particular are dark without being too dark (if you know what I mean 😉 ). This H&M top was hidden in my closet for too long. I actually just found it again the other week! It has longer sleeves than a regular t-shirt, and to be honest, I’m not sure why I put it away for so long. It’s so comfy and can be thrown on in an instant. My Forever 21 cross body came out with the outfit because it matched the colour in the flowers perfectly! I couldn’t resist! And finally, my Steve Madden boots made their first appearance on the blog, and I have no idea how this is the first time! I am constantly wearing them because they are the perfect everyday bootie for the colder seasons.
What is your favourite trend this year? I think mine has to be the embroidery. Although a new one, it’s definitely going to be popping up more in my closet!
